David Cairns is a writer, filmmaker and critic. Graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1991, he made several short films, culminating in the multi-award-winning CRY FOR BOBO (2001), a ten-minute comedy which portrayed clowns as a persecuted minority. David's novel We Used Dark Forces is described as "Perhaps the world’s first WWII science fiction horror comedy whodunit." It's available here, David's also has a film-focused blog called Shadowplay, and is a contributing writer at my blog, LimerWrecks.
